We've received reports of problems renewing the Facebook access token in the Mailit component. This seems to be due to changes in the way the Facebook API functions. For the moment we've mapped out a work around - click here - and will try and get things working smoothly again in version 1.6.
Over today we've finished off fixing the reported bugs for Preachit 3.5 and Melody 1.5. Both of these should be available through the Joomla one-click updater or you can download the complete package from the download links on the relevant extension pages.
Over the Summer we've been busy working on the new versions of our components. Melody 1.6 has now reached beta status and the Preachit 3.6 beta has taken a step nearer stable release.
We're getting very exicted about the development of Preachit 3.6 and the progression of the current beta release, now at release 4, available here for 'Fulcrum Support' subscribers. This retains and increases and power and capabilities of the component while, at the same time, making it simpler and easier to use.
We're pleased to announce the launch of our new beta channel and the availability of Preachit 3.6 in beta mode. This release contains some significant enhancements as well as several behind the scenes changes to prepare for the release of Joomla 3.0.
I'm pretty excited about a new upload center concept that I'm working on for Preachit and Melody. It is based upon the appearance and functionality of the Joomla media manager, but adapted considerably to work with Preachit/Melody folders.
